Victor Cardona, AIA, NCARB

An experienced architect within SmithGroupJJR’s National Science & Technology Practice, Victor serves as a senior laboratory programmer and planner. He has been involved in more than six million square feet of laboratory facilities, from programming and preliminary design through construction observation. As an architect and lab planner, Victor has experience in multiple laboratories types, including both instructional and research biomedical, biosciences, engineering and electronic/clean room facilities. His clients have included corporate, government and university institutions. He has been senior lab planner for two recent R&D Magazine Lab of the Year Award projects.

Victor has spoken at more than 40 acclaimed national conferences such as Laboratory Design Conference and Tradeline, and has authored more than 15 articles for national publications. He also serves as a member of the Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association’s (SEFA) Advisory Board.
